Accounting Job Responsibilities:

§ Perform audit, review and compilations for a diversified client base

§ Prepare and review client financial statements including all footnote disclosures and supplemental schedules

CPA Qualifications

§ CPA or all required courses for CPA

§ 3+ years experience with hedge fund audit

§ Prepare and review K-1s, tax estimates, and 1065 partnership income tax returns for various clients.

§ Perform tax testing for wash sales, straddles, short sales, constructive sales, short vs. the box strategies, unrelated business taxable income (UBTI), and section 1256 and 988 transactions.

Senior Auditor Job in New Jersey with salary up to $110,000

Cranford, NJ

CPA firm has an immediate need for an experienced audit manager or audit senior of employee benefit plans primarily comprised of Multi-Employer plans ranging in size from 300 to 200,000 participants with assets of $5,000,000 to 1 Billion dollars.

Firm services almost 100 Multi-Employer Plans, many of which are in the Building and Construction industry. These plans consist of defined benefit, defined contribution, and health and welfare benefit plans.


· Supervision of audit staff · Scheduling engagements · Audit planning · Review of work papers and financial statements · Interaction with Plan Administrators and key personnel · Attendance of board of Trustees Meetings · Review of DOL and IRS filings · Review of staff performance · Marketing activities.


· Multi-employer benefit plan experience required · CPA preferred · Minimum of 5 years experience of managing employee benefit plan audits
