Financial firm seeks Sr. Due Diligence Analyst for a position in their NYC office. Base salary up to $175k Position: Sr. Operational Due Diligence Analyst

Location: NYC

Job Description:

Company provides independent operational due diligence services to the hedge fund industry. It currently has offices in New York, London and Bermuda.

This accounting position will be located out of the New York office.

Analyst job Responsibilities:

· Completion of operational due diligence reviews of hedge fund managers (of all strategies) and offshore administrators · Due diligence visits with hedge fund managers and independent administrators; · Writing of due diligence reports and the factual accuracy and content review of reports written by other staff members; · Staff development support of junior analysts.

Requirements :

· Solid understanding of operational best practices in the hedge fund industry. · CPA or CA · 3-10 years experience consisting of: o Hedge Fund Assurance audit experience o Hedge Fund Accounting experience · Understand key operational procedures in the hedge fund industry, including controls over back office settlement and reconciliation, security valuation, compliance and fund structures · Excellent written and oral communication skills. The role will require the preparation of detailed, written research reports · Be well organized and able to work with minimal supervision, assuming responsibility for a number of client engagements and building effective relationships with hedge fund managers, investors and other parties

Accounting CPA Job Responsibilities:
