International Tax Manager

International tax manager position. White Plains, NY

The International Tax Manager provides proactive support for the International tax function.  Reporting directly to the Director, International Tax  of a US multinational company, this professional will be responsible for international compliance, reporting and quantitative analysis. The position focuses on all compliance and reporting requirements related to international tax planning and issues including mergers, divestitures, liquidations, financings and restructurings.

 Responsibilities:
· Support local country businesses with contemporaneous documentation for transfer pricing transactions to satisfy US and foreign transfer pricing rules,
· Assist European tax controller in managing and resolving tax audits Coordination with the Treasury function to analyze and manage all inter-company transactions, cash pooling methodologies, foreign exchange issues, and cash tax benefits from tax planning,
· Interaction with legal and financial personnel responsible for foreign operations to ensure information is timely and accurately provided for US tax compliance and planning purposes
Qualifications
· Minimum 3 years with public accounting firm – Regional or bigger
· Familiar with Tax Stream Software and Corp Tax Software
· Working knowledge of FAS 109 and tax provision preparation and reporting
· Working knowledge of core international and domestic tax principles including subpart F and Subchapter C
· Must be able to manage and develop subordinates
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to professionally represent the tax department when interacting with senior management
