A leading global provider of on-and-off shore fund administration services to leading hedge fund organizations, is looking for highly motivated Fund Accountants of all levels who are high achievers, with outstanding skills in the Fund Administration arena.

Hedge Fund Accountant Responsibilities:

Ability to complete Investment Accounting functions for small, mid, or large clients with moderately complex securities.  

Investment Accounting Functions include: · Trade, settlement, pricing, Fx processing. · Cash and holdings reconciliation to custodian banks and asset managers. · Generation of daily, monthly, quarterly and annual Client financial investment and statutory reports. · Research, analyze and resolve variances. · Manage / assist with managing Client relationships · Assist with implementation of new Clients and special projects. · Support of product release testing · Building and maintenance of security master and related data.

Qualifications · B.S. Accounting or Finance · CPA a plus · 3-5 years of hedge fund accounting · Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel · ** Pluses include: Debt & Derivatives, Bloomberg, Schedule D, Investment Performance,

Director of SEC Reporting Opening - CPA SEC Job, NJ

Firm in Park Ridge New Jersey seeks highly qualified Director of SEC Reporting. CPA designation is required for the SEC Reporting Job. This opening carries a $150,000 plus yearly salary and attractive benfits package.

SEC CPA Responsibilities:

· Prepares periodic financial statements for users
· Ensures all reports and disclosures comply with applicable SEC regulations
· Prepares consolidation journal entries, eliminates intercompany transactions, and consolidated divisional and subsidiary financial accounts on a timely and accurate basis for inclusion in internal and external financial statements
· Conducts extensive research regarding the impact to financial statements of potential changes to accounting rules proposed by accounting standards setters
· Provides accounting guidance related to proposed transactions to ensure conformity with SEC regulations, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and company policies and procedures

SEC CPA Job Qualifications:

· CPA required
· 12-15 years of related experience.
· Including 6 to 8 years public accounting firm experience
· Solid external SEC reporting knowledge and demonstrated experience
· Excellent understanding of US GAAP, SEC regulations SX and SK, and financial /management reporting.
